Lịch Vạn Niên - VN is a Chrome Extension that provides a Vietnamese Lunar Calendar. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use our Extension, including the optional Google Calendar integration feature.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to any third party.

1. Data We Collect

1.1 Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect or store any personally identifiable information (PII) on our servers.
• We do not have any backend servers, databases, or analytics tracking.
• We do not collect usage statistics, crash reports, or behavioral data.
• We do not read, copy, or store the content of your Google Calendar events.

1.2 Data Stored Locally On Your Device

The Extension stores a small amount of data in your browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage):

• Quote Language preference: A string value ("vn", "en", or "cn").
• Google OAuth Token: Cached locally by Chrome's identity system and never transmitted to our servers.

2. Google Calendar Integration

This is an optional feature. If you choose to connect your Google Calendar:

• Access: We request read-only access (calendar.readonly) solely to display events in the popup.
• Usage: Data is held temporarily in memory while the popup is open. It is never written to disk or shared.
• Control: You can revoke access anytime via the Extension's Options page or your Google Account settings.
